One of the officers in charge of the initial expedition that results in the discovery of the Planet Solo. Damido is a colleague of Gije's and along with him pursues Karala early in the series. Damido is much more aggressive than Gije and appears to be more concerned with wiping out the enemy than rescuing Karala. (Source: Wiki)
