Zakuro Takashima

Height: 163 cm Yuki's schoolmate from a neighbouring class, Zakuro, is the protagonist of the "Looking-glass Insects" chapter. She has a tendency to get lost in her thoughts and frequently spaces out. Due to her timid and soft-spoken nature, she is often a target of tasteless pranks and bullying. She considers her classmate Kimika to be her only friend, though their relationship appears to be occasionally ambiguous. After constant bullying, she is completely driven to the brink of insanity, coming to believe that she is the reincarnation of an angel warrior sent to save the world. Tsukikawa Usami and Mizuo Ayumi who've gone through similar experiences as her claim that to get their angel powers back, they must have a near-death experience. This leads to Zakuro committing suicide on July 12th which leads to Mamiya Takuji going insane and setting the events of the week leading up to the supposed end of the world on July 20th in motion.
