In the *Gundam Sōseiki* (ガンダム創世記, lit. “Gundam Book of Genesis”) episodes of the fifth *SD Gundam* OVA, the cheerful Haniwa Gundam (along with the Haniwa Zaku) form a society that works together to create new life. Ultimately, they all become ghosts, but are no less merry for that.
