Kyokuichi Tokyo Movie was the animation production identity used after Sega's Kyokuichi Corporation absorbed Tokyo Movie Shinsha on November 1, 1995, with Kyokuichi as the surviving company. Kyokuichi established a Tokyo branch office and launched its animation production division, the Tokyo Movie Division, taking on Tokyo Movie Shinsha's subsidiaries Telecom Animation Film and TMS Photo. Anime works produced during this period were credited as Kyokuichi Tokyo Movie, while international prints used the TMS-Kyokuichi name.
