Triple X was a hentai brand name used by Studio Kikan and later by Arms Corp., Ltd., a Japanese animation studio based in Suginami, Tokyo active from 1996 to 2020. Studio Kikan was already producing hentai under its own name and the Triple X pseudonym before Arms was founded on November 18, 1996 as a split from Studio Kikan to take over all hentai-oriented works. Arms continued using the Triple X brand name until around 2002, while going on to produce mainstream titles such as the anime adaptation of Elfen Lied.
